Pushpa Mahato

Pushpa Rani Mahato, aged 41, from Village Layadi in Panchayat Mahulbona, has been associated with the Aadivasi Welfare Foundation as a plantation caretaker for the past four years. Through her dedicated work, she plays an important role in supporting forest conservation and sustainable livelihoods. Her responsibilities include maintaining fruit-bearing and timber trees, ensuring regular watering, and carrying out essential tasks such as pruning and cleaning around the roots. She also remains alert to prevent fires and protect the plantation area. Her dedication and hard work significantly contribute to the success of the Foundation’s green initiatives.
