Phulchan Mahato

Phulchan Mahato, aged 48, has been associated with the Aadivasi Welfare Foundation as part of the caretaker program. During the financial year, he has been responsible for monitoring tree plantations and regularly watering the plants. He also maintains the plantation area by clearing and cutting grass to ensure healthy growth. In case of fires, he takes immediate action to extinguish them using water. His primary occupation is farming, and through the caretaker program he receives a monthly stipend of ₹6000 for his dedicated work in protecting and nurturing the plantation area.
